60 Durometer Natural Rubber Bearing Pads
Technical Data Sheet
Hanna Rubber Company’s 60 durometer natural rubber (Buna-N) plain bearing pads strike the perfect balance between firmness and adaptability, meeting rigorous AASHTO M251-06 Grade 3, AREMA Section 18, Caltrans Section 51, ASTM D4014, and CAN/CSA standards. These medium-hardness pads effectively manage expansion and contraction of precast and steel components while mitigating dynamic loads, vibration, and noise to preserve structural integrity. With enhanced tear strength and abrasion resistance, they’re suited for bridge abutments, girder seats, seismic isolators, and heavy machinery foundations. Standard inventory ranges from 1/8″ to 18″ thickness and 36″ or 48″ widths; custom durometer, size, and shape options are available on request. Our 60 durometer natural rubber pads perform reliably in service temperatures of –20 °F to 250 °F, offering long-term durability and chemical resistance for transportation, energy, and petrochemical infrastructure.
