hermoplastic rubber () combines the processability of plastics with the flexibility and durability of rubbers. Typically more light weight and formable than rubber, TPR has been growing in acceptance for many applications over the last decade.
TPR provides outstanding compression characteristics plus offers excellent resistance to flex fatigue and tear. It maintains good flexibility to temperatures approaching -80°F. Hanna Rubber Company offers TPR in two grades to meet specific applications. FDA grade may be selected from two durometers “” 64A or 80A “” to meet your requirements. It is natural in color and suitable for most clean needs, such as food and beverage or pharmaceuticals. Black-colored industrial grade is available in 64A durometer. This formulation offers exceptional resistance to U.V., ozone, and other chemicals. It is well suited for outdoor use.
