Ring gaskets are the most popular type of gasket used in process plant applications. The ring gasket is used with raised face flanges, see image below. A raised face flange is easy to identify as the sealing surface is raised above the bolt face. Hanna Rubber produces ring gaskets using non-asbestos, red rubber (Garlock® style 22), Garlock®, Gylon®, Viton®, Neoprene, ECH (epichlorohydrin), EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer), NBR (nitrile, buna-n) and several other materials.
