Sponge Rubber

Hanna carries a wide range of sponge and foam materials used in many industries and applications including aerospace, automotive, packaging, soundproofing, heat press transfer, insulation and many more. Our material is available in a broad array of thicknesses and styles including sheets & rolls, with or without adhesive backing.

Available Sponge Rubber

Crosslink Polyethylene sponge rubber
Crushed EPDM sponge rubber

Dortite is a natural open cell sponge combined with a non-stretch backing and an aggressive rubber based adhesive.

  • Easy to use
  • Excellent Memory
  • Non-Stretch
  • Versatile
Foam Rubber

Foam rubber refers to rubber that has been manufactured with a foaming agent to create an air-filled matrix structure. Foam rubber materials include polyurethane, polyethylene, and cross linked polyethylene. Foam rubber is typically used for applications such as packaging, filtering, and furniture.

Metal Detectable Silicone Sponge is the perfect solution to eroding particles from deteriorating seals from entering the process line. These particles can be easily detected with in-line metal detection systems. Allowing for a quick stop of production to remove the contaminated product and limiting loss.

Intumescent, Airtight, Watertight and Resilient Sealing Foam

FS1000 is expandable and fire resistant, blocking smoke, air and water. In its
natural state, FS1000 is soft, conformable, and easy to attach to complex surfaces.

Silicone Foam

COHRlastic® F-12 and F-20 Silicone Foam Rubber provide excellent flame retardance ( UL 94 V-O) with low toxicity and smoke generation in a conformable expanded cellular material. Both the F-12 and F-20 offer excellent compression Set Resistance and excellent resistance to ultravioet light, ozone and extreme temperature ranges for for long-term aging properties. Also, resistant to fungus, moisture, ozone, UV, and weather making it perfect for outdoor gasketing material for outdoor applications

Silicone Sponge

Silicone sponge is regarded for its high heat, resistance to compression set and is used in high performance gasketing, thermal shielding, vibration mounts and press pads. Silicone sponge is available in different grades of compressibility and compression deflection that meet ASTM, BMS, and Mil-R specifications.

closed cell sponge rubber
Open Cell Sponge Rubber

Open-cell sponge material construction possesses an interconnected cell structure which will permit limited
adsorption and circulation of gases and fluids.

Open cell exhibits good physical durability and fast recovery upon release from compression.
