Silicone Foam

COHRlastic® F-12 and F-20 Rubber provide excellent flame retardance ( UL 94 V-O) with low toxicity and smoke generation in a conformable expanded cellular material. Both the F-12 and F-20 offer excellent compression Set Resistance and excellent resistance to ultravioet light, ozone and extreme temperature ranges for for long-term aging properties. Also, resistant to fungus, moisture, ozone, UV, and weather making it perfect for outdoor gasketing material for outdoor applications.

Features/ Benefits:

  • UL 94 V-0 Rated
  • Withstands 2100°F Flame for 10 minutes
  • Low levels of toxicity and smoke generation
  • Excellent Compression for Set Resistance
  • Lightweight
  • Can be cast onto various substrates, including heat shielding materials, tear resistant materials, and Vapor barriers

  • Automotive & Mass Transit-offers a high degree of design flexibility
  • Aircraft & Aerospace- very low density allows for for weight savings which increases fuel efficiency .
  • Firewall insulation, thermal barriers, noise insulation, and gasketing for commercial and private marine vehicles
