Description
Produced to a uniform thickness and density, this expansion joint is manufactured from gray, top-quality blown sponge rubber. It compresses easily and delivers a recovery rate of 95% or greater of original thickness, with a minimum density of 30 lb./ft.³ (480.56 kg/m³).
Applications
This product is widely used in bridge structures and sewage treatment plants subject to rapid or wide temperature fluctuations. Its excellent recovery characteristics make it well suited for installation around supporting pillars, drains, hydrants, and lamp and sign posts, as well as in isolation applications and between materials with dissimilar coefficients of thermal expansion.
